Suspect Arrested After Fatal Seshego Stabbing

Police in Seshego, under the Capricorn District in Limpopo, have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 30 November 2025, at Moletjie, Ga-Ramongoana Village.

According to police reports, the incident took place at around 4am at the suspect’s residence, where the 39-year-old victim and several other individuals had gathered. An argument allegedly broke out between the suspect and the victim, escalating into a violent confrontation. During the altercation, the suspect is said to have stabbed the victim with a sharp object.

The injured man was rushed to hospital for urgent medical assistance but sadly succumbed to his injuries while being transported.

Police were alerted to the incident and immediately opened a case of murder. A swift investigation led to the arrest of the suspect on Monday, 1 December 2025.

He is expected to appear before the Seshego Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, where he will face a charge of murder. Police say investigations are ongoing.
