Waterberg Academy, a prestigious independent school under the Independent Examination Board (IEB), has once again upheld its tradition of academic excellence, achieving a 100% pass rate. This remarkable achievement, sustained since the Academy’s inception, reflects the commitment and hard work of both students and educators, as well as the unwavering support from parents.
The top three students who stand out this year include:
- Carla Leonard: With six distinctions, Carla achieved a remarkable 95% in Life Orientation, placing her in the top 1% of IEB schools. She also excelled in Life Sciences (88%) and Geography (88%).
- Katlego Bokaba: With five distinctions, Katlego achieved 94% in Life Orientation and 87% in Mathematics, showcasing exceptional academic prowess.
- Michelle Mecchi: Michelle earned three distinctions, with 92% in Life Orientation and impressive 82% marks in both Business Studies and Mathematical Literacy.
These students are shining examples of hard work and perseverance, serving as inspirations to the Waterberg Academy community. As the Academy continues its pursuit of academic excellence, it also prioritizes the development of well-rounded individuals who uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, and respect.
